As exams were around the corner last few weeks back, decided to drop by one of the cafe near my area to study. Went to The Coffee Daily at Brighton Crescent area to study. It’s a pretty small cafe with some vintage furniture and decorations. The environment is quiet and quite conducive for some studying or completion of work. They serve a modest menu of hot food, to a variety of drinks and desserts.
look at all these old school furniture like woven chairs, plates, decoration. Dont you feel like you’re back in the 80’s early 90’s.
& the best thing is, there’s complimentary old school biscuits – the alphabet biscuits and fancy gems! If you’re hungry while studying, there’s always snacks for you!
& so i ordered their laksa lasagna ($9) and rainbow cake ($10). Many recommend their laksa lasagna, so i thought i might give it a try instead of the usual all-day breakfast. Their laksa lasagna was alright not too fantastic to rave about. Although it has the gravy but feel a lil dry while eating it. It taste different from the usual beef lasagna. The rainbow cake is the first that i tried. aint it well decorated? it’s not too sweet, its not too moist but more towards the dry and fluffy spongy kind. The flavours were quite light so you can actually taste the cream cheese. overall the food are quite decent but definitely thumbs up for environment and service.
