Early sunday brunch at Symmetry Cafe. Its nestled between Lavender and Bugis. But it’s almost full house when we reached! So better make your reservation early! They dont have alot of tables too. Alternatively, when we reach, we can indicate the number of us at this ‘queue here’ stand, i saw quite a few cafe using this system now. So how it works is, they will tell you how many people is in the queue right now, then subsequently you click click click and join the queue. They will notify you via the phone number you key in when there’s table ready for you. So probably in the meantime you can just walk walk around at the neighbourhood.
Quite a variety of choices for all day breakfast but their price are more expensive compared to other cafes in general. Ordered Truffle Eggs Mushroom ($21), Symmetry Eggs Benedict ($22), Symmetry Eggs Sur Le Plat ($24). I would say their breakfast are simple and not too bad. But for the price, probably i will not return the second time, i might head for wild honey instead. The scrambled eggs is soft and fluffy which is really good! Poached eggs are nicely done too with runny yolks. Bacons, portobello mushrooms and hashbrown are there to give the salty taste to add flavours to it, if not otherwise the dishes will be too plain.
