I was brought to this nice place in Orchard. I went to 2 different branches of Antoinette before. But this at Orchard is so pretty! It has the garden feel! It has this white pavilion of sofa seats and on the circumference are on the table seats. The whole place is decorated with flowers, plants, feel like a breather away from the city life.
& here we are we our food! Savoury Blinis with grilled sausage, tomato, salad and french butter. The pancake is soft, dense and good with the maple syrup and butter. It goes well with the grilled sausage as it gave the savoury taste to the pancake. 2 of the pancake is enough as i always feel pancake after eating too much will feel gelard and sick of it too unless it has a lot of sides to go with it and probably if there’s really is, you’ll be too full from it too! & i had my choice of egg with smoked duck breast! First time i saw this all a all-day breakfast menu. i like how the toast is toasted to just right crispy but not charred. And its just perfect with the butter. The scrambled eggs are soft and fluffy, not the runny kind, a bit dry. But the sliced mushroom and smoked duck breast is good, it complements with the french toast and eggs well. The smoked duck breast is not too salty, so doesnt really overpower and mask all the other taste. Nicely done! Personally feel that Antoinette at Orchard is a pretty place for some afternoon tea, bask in the garden mood, sipping tea away and enjoying some desserts! how good can life be!
