Here we are at Habitat Coffee! We are always googling for some cafes for our next cafe hop! Located along upper thomson road. Now Upper Thomson is full of all the foodie goodies places! Its time to check all of them out one by one! Food here are pretty good but area is pretty small! So remember to make a reservation or come at non-peak hours!
Selection of cakes! Quite a variety! & peek at the menu for the food and drinks they offer! It quite cool, the menu is printed on some wooden panel, dont crumple and dirty easily.
So we ordered 1 mocha ($5.90), Hello truffle fries ($8), The Big Ben ($14), Ocean Linguine ($16). The prices are rather reasonable and i would say are a lil cheaper compared to other cafes. But the quality of food are not compromised! so fret not! Mocha is good, but with a more coffee-y note. So didnt drink alot of it, if not gonna have insomnia at night since im quite sensitive to it. Truffle fries are good. Aromatic, crisp hot outer and soft within and generous serving too! Able to taste of the truffle too! The big ben is good! Its like the typical main all-day breakfast every cafe will have, consisting of scrambled eggs, portobello mushroom, cheese sausage, some greens and potato pancake/hashbrown! A very sumptuous meal, get to eat all kind of food. Their potato pancake is quite special, they ownself mashed it up and fry it. So the texture is kind of different from typical hashbrown. Scrambled eggs is good, fluffy and tasty! Another must try dish, ocean linguine with white wine sauce! I just love seafood pasta with white wine base. its the best combination ever! as its aglio oglio style, so the white wine taste isnt too strong, but its still aromatic overall!
