I wanted to go to somewhere more special, so decided to google for some other cafes and chance upon this Book Cafe. Its located in the Robertson Quay area. This cafe is quite popular! It was separated into kind of 2 area, one area is more of the dining, chit chatting side, another is more of the laid back, homely cosy feel when you see people reading their book, newspaper or typing away behind their laptop. They have book such as travel guidebook, or some other genres, where you can just grab one and read your day away!
We ordered Pancake, eggs and Bacon ($8.95) and eggs royale ($16.90). Pancake, eggs & bacon was kind of simple, like our Mac Breakfast! But still its tasty! Never underestimate simple food! Next was the egg royale consist of the typical egg benedict with rosti! it was my first time eating benedict with rosti, i would say the combination is good! as personally i like rosti too! Crispy on the outer of rosti and soft potatoes within. But the toasted english muffin really taste like typical mac breakfast McMuffin. overall its kind of average for the food but the environment is welcoming!
after which, we ordered a cup of Hot Cocoa with Marshmellow and Traditional Italian Lemon & Pine Nut Pie. The hot cocoa with marshmellow is really good, its like drinking hot chocolate with melted marhmellow! The dessert is nice too! I’ll probably head over for their dessert and drink then their main course.
