After dinner at D’good Cafe, decided to went to MU Parlour to try their desserts. It wasnt well received online. & its also not very well received by us :/ The ambience was good but the desserts were average not especially fantastic kind.
Their selection of cakes were not extensive but good enough i guess. There’s around 10 kinds to choose from? Frankly speaking, the cakes looks pretty and awesome! But the taste were rather far from it. We ordered some caramelized pear cake and some yuzu cake, they look special from the other cheesecake, so we decided to order to try. The caramelized cake has a strong cinnamon taste and doesnt have any pear taste infused within the cake, its just a few caramelized pear on top of it. While for the other cake, its nothing special except for its centre that has a sourish yuzu citrus portion which is overwhelming. The cocktails are worse. Its very different from other cocktails that i had before. The drinks are Dixie Pimm’s, Smoked Manhatten and Jalisco Pop from left to right respectively. The price ranges from $17-$20. The first cup on the left is sourish with a taste of refreshing cucumber, the centre cup is some smoked cocktail which really have a overpowering smoked taste and aftertaste. So there’s actually nothing good to rave about for this dessert cafe.
